I have absolutely NOTHING to complain about and EVERYTHING to be grateful for.
I have new friends who have lost one child to cancer, and have now been fighting cancer for 3 years with their oldest daughter. They have just endured intensive brain surgery and face many more obstacles.
I have just found an amazing young woman named Heather, through the blogging world, and she is fighting brain cancer as well, and believing for complete healing. She also has a special needs child, and other children. I, have NOTHING to complain about and EVERYTHING to be grateful for.
With tears in my eyes, today I am grateful for:
- The faith of my new friends. I am blessed by their courage, and reliance on Jesus. I stand with them and declare complete wholeness and healing. I believe that God is into miracles and I declare miraculous healing over them.
- My health, the health of my family.
- My most precious handicapped child. Who is perfect in God's and my eyes. I am grateful for her constant joy, her eyes of acceptance and delight, and her unconditional love. Oh, to be like her!
- Sunshine and flowers. They make me happy every time I see them.
- The ability to love and be loved.
- Relationships that last for eternity. I am rich with many.

I think it is healthy to look around periodically and remind ourselves that our troubles are real....but there's always someone out there that we would not want to trade places with.
Bless your friends...cancer is such an unnecessary evil....I HATE IT!!!!
Yep we have a lot to be thankful for..

Thanks so much for the thoughtful words on my blog!
I wish we could do coffee sometime! :)
Looking at others' problems always seem to make our own shrink.
