Today in devotions at work. I led a celebration prayer pod.
Its good to remember, and muse upon, and think of all positive things we see around us, and to thank God for them. Each day we face challenges, and its easy to see what isn't working or isn't......something.
Phillipians 4:8 says:
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
So, I think that:
* I am blessed
* Life is good
* God provides above and beyond my wildest dreams
* He is kind
* He answers prayer
* He is full of wisdom and light
* My kids are so beautiful and a gift
* I am chosen
* Each day brings with it a promise of hope and mercy
* I am forgiven and healed
* I am loved
* He is good
* His promises are true
* Love always wins
* Love never fails
* The people around me are a gift from God
* Greater things have yet to come

This verse became my life motto over 10 years ago. Dwelling in it was one of the keys God used in my life to overcome depression.
So many think they have NO control over their thoughts - NOT TRUE.
"Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks"... it flows from the thoughts, to the heart and comes out the mouth... at least that's the way I see it.

Dwelling on the positive can really change everything in every part of our lives and while waiting for the change to be made manifest, it keeps our spirits up.

I so admire how you choose to view life. A thankful heart is so necessary.
Why NOT have a positive attitude? A negative attitude won't change a thing and people will be more likely to avoid us too!!
I find what I focus on seems to get magnified...so I do myself a favor by thinking positively!
